What is the best Dimarzio pickup for Metal?
I currently own an Ibanez Jem777DY which has
PAF Pro
's stock and I am looking for something heavy but still universal. Which Dimarzio's do you think I should get?

'Cause they're the f'in best. My opinions, at least. I'd say either
Tone Zone
or
Super Distortion
, or the X2N, of course.

Steve's Special is pretty versatile and has kind of a clean scoopy kinda of sound (less mids) so you can scoop mids and chug away forever, but bringin out the mids also let's you explore other music-territory.

That must be a new model. It's not even on DiMarzio's site yet.

Screamin Demon is George Lynch's signature
Seymour Duncan
pup, not Dimarzio.

Hey, It was an error. I´ve posting from my class computer, so I was speeding up and I didn't take notice of my answer.
I was thinking on the "Humbucker from Hell", but I forgot that the topic was "
Dimarzio pickups
...".So, sorry.
Wathever, I was thinking on the best pickup for metal, not the most powerful pickup. A Tone Zone is good too, but hey, I have a PAF Pro on my guitar and it sounds awesome.!
Tastes are a broad world.
