What Next? - same question everyone else asks

Im looking at expanding my stuff a wee bit. *Looking for ideas. *What I have is a Mark IV, a Lexicon MPX-100, MIDI controller, DS-1 and volume and wah pedals.
I wanna replace my Dunlop wah with a Bad Horsie, but other than that, im stumped.
Im into Vai and Satch and Dream Theater mostly
Compression......Whammy.........EQ.........Noise Reduction?
Any thoughts? * Please think in the $200 or less area

Buy a TC Electronic stereo chorus/flanger/pitch modulator. It's good. Or a Small Stone phaser. Or a decent tuner. Or a wacky Danelectro whatchamacallit. They're quite interesting.

How about a Boss CH-1 (less than $100) and an MXR Dynacomp compressor (around $100)???

Check out a whammy, I just so happen to know where you can get one for 100 bux...
The other thing you may wanna toy with is some type of univibe effect, I don't know how capable the lexi is at leslie simulation, but thats one neat sounding effect.

I haven't priced any myself (I assume under $300), but I recommend the Line 6 pedals. *They have a distortion pedal that models many of the popular pedals of today and yesterday. *Or you could check out their modulation pedal. *

You can also add expression contollers to the L6 "stomp boxes" so there is still room for growth in the future.

You can never go wrong with a good EQ, it'll open up lots of different tones to you.

If you can´t think of anything to buy yourself, then why bother buying it?! Save the cash untill you have the need for whatever new stuf you´re thinking about.

Just a thought.....

Killer idea. *someone who thinks "Outside of the box"

Kudos dude!

I'm pretty sure I've got my eyes set on the Bad Horsie though. *So that'll probably be what I get. *I've always wanted one, I was just wondering if there was something cooler out there I hadn't thought of yet.
