what would happen if (AC question)

What would happen if i used a 1200 mA(miliamp) 9V adapter instead of a 1300mA 9V adapter?

thanks in advance.

If the plug & polarity were correct, your unit would power up... ;-)

i guess a vital piece of info would've been to tell you that the gear i need to power up says it need a 9V 1300mA power supply.

thats what i get for typing so late at night.

OK. I can't imagine you'd starve the unit by shorting it that small amount. The important things are:
1. They're both AC or DC (most wall warts spit out DC, but not all)
2. The plug fits
3. Voltage is correct
4. The polarity is correct (this only matters on DC of course, but it's important).

If those are good to go and you're at least close in mV output, you should be fine.
