Not 100% clean but I use Bad Monkeys with the gain off, level maxxed. There is a slight amount of grit in it.

I use a Keeley Katana.

It's excellent.

Re: What's your boost?

TS-9 works great for me but I'm using a Tone Bone Tri-Mode at the moment (TUBES!).

There are some uber-expensive pedals to be found, it just depends on whether you are a complete tone nut or not.

I don't usually use one, although I sometimes use the Tubescreamer model on my Korg ToneWorks.

Re: What's your boost?

These are some good suggestions but,I don't like the mid peek that comes with overdrive pedals, and the Katana and Tone-Bone are out of my price range.Has anybody tried the BBE Boosta Grande or Freq Boost? What about the Rocktron Nitro Boost?

I've never tried the BBEs, but I've heard the Boosta Grande is quite good.

For a true clean boost, the MXR micro-amp is great.

Re: What's your boost?

Ive got three BBE pedals and am extremely happy with all of them... I dont have a boosta grande but like others Ive heard alot of good things about it... so its on my list

I think they are all true bypass... teh only thing I can fault about them is that the pedal have a rubber pad glued to the bottom that doesnt stick well to sticky back velcro hence they keep falling off my pedal board...

Re: What's your boost?

I have a Zoom Power Drive, which does a true clean boost and a TS like overdrive. I prefer the overdrive, though.

Re: What's your boost?

the Xotic RC booster is the best I've played. It can boost with zero distortion (try that with a TS9--yeah right) or add a healthy amount of very-tubey grind. It also buffers your signal so it stays pristine throughout your chain.

Re: What's your boost?

Been using a ZVex Super Duper 2-in-1 for awhile now. Two seperate completely clean boosts. I have one set up for my Strat so that it takes it up to the same level as my humbucker-equipped guitars. The other I just set up as an overall boost. I rarely use that one, but it's nice to have the option. You can also use both together for a monster boost. It's almost too much of a boost, but again - it's nice to have the option
