Basically think of a type of Pedal (Stompbox, Twin pedal, Multi Effects Processor etc.), then what effects it has or what it does, then give it a name, Or think of a Pedal that already has been made and a modification you would like to see done to it.
Mine would be a pedal that when connected it made your guitar sound perfectly in tune all the time (no matter how out of tune your guitar was), and you could change the type of tuning (standard, drop-d, open-d etc.) that you heard by just switching between the different types. Its extremely lazy i know but it could help you so that you never have to tune your guitar at a gig again. I would probably call it the PT (Perfect Tuner).
no pedals at all , the best pedal for me is not needing one because i have an amp that gets me the tone i want .
seriously i guess one that could do everything well and not sound overly digital or make the sound become to processed, so i guess a multi-fx unit that is durable , transperant and user friendly . I'd call it the omni-fx .
I must say I'm quite happy with my Zoom G9.2tt...
However, there are a few things that could still be improved...
1) Add an extra eq-stage in front of the preamp.
2) Allow the settings for the twin tubes to be stored as part of the patch.
3) Seamless patch change.
4) Make the position of the external loop configurable in the chain (or at least pre or post preamp), so that you can use a stompbox or ampmodel to boost an external preamp/effect.
5) Upgrade the USB interface so it supports 24/96 recording.
And ofcourse I could probably also think of some ampmodels or effects that could be included... But well, it's just the more the better, they should just aim to model every amp and effect ever made in the history of music
Jeff Beck Pedal - makes you play like Jeff Beck - all that technology in one little stomp box - I'd say we'll need another hundred or so years before the technology is good enough.....
... in the meantime..... my hands are all I need to get a good tone......
I would have a hard time choosing just one pedal but my DD-20 Giga Delay gives me some serious stage magic with the 9-10 different settings like: reverse, warp, dual, pan, loop, ect.
My PW-10 has a wicked Uni-Vibe setting that is controllable like a Wah for speed. I love me some Uni-Vibe action, it makes things swirly and the girls easily excitable
