Which chorus pedal

I'm after a chorus pedal but unsire which to get. Any recommendations?

I almost entirely play blues now, with a little bit of rock-ish stuff too and I'm after something to add a little bit of warmth to my rhythm and it has to be robust as f*ck as I'm not the most gentle of people.

Any pointers would be appreciated

Re: Which chorus pedal

I liked the "Boss" Chorus Ensemble when I used to use chorus...

I'm tempted to buy a bunch of 2nd stuff off the bay and test, but hopefully I'll be able to round it down to 1, 2 or 3 pedals to look at

Re: Which chorus pedal

As far as pedals go, I have the Electro Harmonix Clone Theory stereo chorus pedal. It definitely has a warm sound, although it does have a small amount of background noise.

Re: Which chorus pedal

I got tired of the BOSS chorus pedals a long time ago, they're great pedals, but a bit too "digital" sounding for my tastes, but if that type of "proccessed" sound is what you're looking for don't think it twice and get yourself either a Super Chorus (better sounding in my opinion) or a Chorus Ensemble (more versatile). I would recommend either an EH Small Clone, EH Poly Chorus or Visual Sound H20. Great sounding pedals, big round chorus sound. The Clone it's eq'ed a bit more towards the high end, as the Poly and the H20 are more towards the low end. I think that the latter 2 work better with single coils or split positions (specially if you're using high output pickups, which we all tend to love here at jemsite hahahaha). Anyway, the three are superb, and with the Poly you'll get a lot more of cool features (a killer flanger, echo and a sort of ring modulator) and with the H20 you'll get an INCREDIBLE sweet sounding delay. My personal pick is the H20 (which I actually own hahahahaha)
