im leaning toward either HH or H-S-S, but that is just a guess for me haha. maybe some seymore duncans or dimarzio's if you want to search for a pickup that is your style just use dimarzio's or seymore duncan's find your pickup thing.

Is there a reason why you two have suggested HSS over HSH?

well i was thinking of the musician's guitars that you listed and i figured hss would probably best suit your style. HSH is what i prefer though, its all your choice

Okay, sweet. I ask cause I have gotten recommendations without justfication and if they have given justification its been vague.

Re: Which is the best pickup config for me
I voted H-H or H-S-H... with H-S-H you get the single in the middle and you can add a push pull pot so you can get both humbuckers together too...

Re: Which is the best pickup config for me
HSS because the single coil in neck just sounds so smooth. Then you have the roughness of the hum in bridge. and you have the reverse wound in the middle to get the other strat sounds if needed. If you don't want the single coil in neck you can put a single sized humbucker or route. So its a win win type dealio
