If you buy a Carvin Legacy or any other amp from Carvin direct (off their site) will they ship to the uk, and if they do will they shove loads of Tax on it.

Cheers

Just called them for you and they do NOT ship to the UK. You have to go through the distributer which would be Nevada Music, I guess

It wouldn't matter if they did ship, you'd have to get an outboard transformer for it anyway and that's a load of hassle, and may void the warrantee etc.... IMHO we're better off buying our amps from over here and our guitars from over there

I think the Legacy 2x12 goes for about £900 over here.

Hi there I just tried out a Mesa Boogie Single Rec and found it not to be my thing. Now i am desperate to try out a Legacy but the only place that stocks them in the UK is Nevada Music and thats about a 4-5 hour drive away from me.

Is there any other ways i could try one out, or do i have to jump in the car and drive for mile and miles.

Any responce is warmly welcomed

Beavis - If you go here, you can here Steve playing it. I know it's not the same as you playing it yourself, but it is all I can think of right now. I have the Legacy, and though, I can't play anywhere near like Steve, the sound is pretty accurately portrayed.
