Zoom 3000 Player or equivelant

A friend at work has one of these and let me borrow it a couple of years back, it was a great little FX unit despite being quite a few years old. I liked a lot of the presets and had much fun playing with the "extreme metal" distortion setting, plus the harmoniser. I've always just been a guitar-and-amp guy, never been into effects really. However, I've been thinking a lot lately about it, and I'd like to buy an FX unit.

Budget is pretty tight just now, so no fancy stuff... was looking at a price of up to £70 at the most. Because of this I was thinking of buying a used unit... however have looked on EvilBay and don't see much there. I'd love a Zoom 3000 like my mate's, principally because of the ease of use and the great sounds. Like I say, that Extreme Metal patch and the harmoniser had me hooked! Talk box was also interesting... however, because of their age they seem a bit thin on the ground nowadays.

Any ideas folks? Like I say ideally I'm after a Zoom 3000 but they seem a little rare, plus I can't really afford any of the new units... had a look at the Zoom GFX series, look pretty impressive but I can't stretch the budget for a new one. Like I say, budget is a little tight. Would appreciate some advice anyway...

Cheers

This is the chap right here -

Dug mine out and it needs repaired though and is a bit dirty. The power adapter works fine but the power connection on the actual pedal needs resoldered I think.
