Well ladies and gentlemen,
I have had to make the hardest decision in the world on behalf of jemsiters and jem fans alike. I bought a car this morning, as i was still driving one that belonged to my mother. I was paying for everything, but the car has aged considerably since then , and i wanted one of my own especially since i start the firefighters academy at the end of the summer.
So up for sale is my precious 1990 Jem 7PBK. She is in great condition. She has a few nicks and wear and tear that you`d expect from an 18 year old guitar, but other than that the guitar is great. The neck on this beast is unbelievable. I also have a 777, and this one tears it apart. The action is the lowest i have ever played on any guitar. She is every guitarists wet dream in respects to her playability. The inlays are simply gorgeous. Note that this is the only 6 string neck to feature abalone and MOP
Pyramid inlays. The guitars few cosmetic issues are never serious enough to hit through the finish, so the guitar looks crisp. Especially being that it is black, you can hardly see any of them. It has the ever so famous
neck joint crack lines on either side, which ,i cannot stress more than anyone else, do not affect tuning stability. All in all she is in great condition and these PAF`s sound amazing. It`s true the rumor i hear a lot, the more mileage these babies get, the sweeter they sound. I get so many tones with these guitars. Especially Satch sounds. nice and crunchy, yet clean and crisp. These babies were meant to play 80`s hair metal and the like. This guitar is one of the two jems to sport Steve`s original handle design. Some find it boring, but in this guitar`s case, i find it elegant. This is the guitar that was featured in Steve`s ``Die to Live`` video.
