Hello all,
I am selling my beautiful Jem 10th anniversary guitar. It is number 780. In my opinion, the guitar is as close to mint as it can be without it being brand new. I looked her over closely last night after having been in the case for quite some time and I could find no blemishes on the body at all. There didnt even appear to be any "wiping swirls" either. There is zero chrome wear on the pickups, however there is a barely noticeable pinhead size nick on the
bridge pickup directly under the low E string. The nick is chromed over, so I'm assuming it was like that from the Dimarzio factory. Even the back plates on this guitar still have the plastic on them.
Its got the silver USA case which is in great condition as well. The case does have a slight 1" tear of the black velvet where the lower horn of the guitar goes. This exposes a tiny bit of the white foam underneath. The lock on the case has never been set. For some reason, the lock doesnt pop up when you push the button, you have to lightly pull on it while the button is down to open it. Its really no big deal but I want to describe everything as detailed as I can. The certificate is MINT, and still in its original envelope. All original "hang tags" and Ibanez manuals, brochures, literature, etc... are also included with the guitar. The original "trem blocker" is also included and has never been installed on the guitar.
I feel that $4000 is a fair price for a beauty like this. I will take some pictures of the guitar tonight. Forgive me for not having them already, but I wanted to get daylight pics and the weather has been horrible lately for that. I'll just give up and take them tonight. I know I'm "new" here, but I've been looking around the site for years now. I've bought and sold a few high end guitars at "the other place" with great luck, so if anyone is concerned about my reputation, please ask and I will provide you with my name there to read my feedback. Please PM me if anyone is interested. Thanks!
David
