Hi, I´m selling a Ibanez JEM7DBK signed by Steve Vai!. The condition is like new. Mr. Vai signed it behind the headstock, in a italian shop in Milan.

Basswood body, Rosewood fretboard, DiMarzio Breed pickups.

I´m in Spain. The price is 1800 euros.

I think that may have been somewhat rude from the person that wrote the comment earlier...but I think that person means that $2200 is way over current marketprice. I have seen these go for $720-$890 in mint condition on that biggest auction site. Objects for $1050 and over often go unsold. A little more expensive in Europe, maybe 900-950 euros. Lower the price a little bit and you will have people to discuss pricing with. There you go. Good luck with the sale!

Anyway, 900 euros is a too low price (in my opinion) at least in Spain. This guitar is really like new. Also, this JEM is signed by Steve Vai... It´s added value...

$900-$1000 was the final auction price in the US. maybe you can get more since it's autographed and if you sell within the EU I definately think you can get more. Maybe 950-1000euros = ~$1250. Try that I think if you are really serious in selling your piece.

Well, I believe this discussion is only about diferents points of view... and if it´s possible to find a guitar like this at a price like you say.

Not really. I am first and foremost after JEM7PBK, JEM7VSBL, JEM777VBK. Will look for those first. Won't rule out getting a JEM7DBK in the future as it is really nice but not now. I have noticed that guitar prices are out of control in Great Britain on "that auction site". If you really want to squeeze out max for your axe you should offer it there. There seems to be a shortage of JEMs i England from what I can see in the prices.

Even in the UK you won't get more than £750 maximum even if it is mint and signed by Vai.

Its a shame and I hope you sell for a good price but 1500 euros is too high a price pretty much anywhere.

Just to note, discussion is frowned upon in the classifieds because it keeps bumping the ad up the list of other ads, just so you know. I'm not trying to do anyone's job and I'm not an authority around here so I'm going to shut up right now!
