Well...I swore I'd never sell this guitar. It was a gift from my soon-to-be-ex-wife. But, with a divorce pending, the need to clear up some cash has surpassed the need for a guitar that sits in its case unplayed.
The guitar is basically brand new. I've played it for MAYBE 4 hours since I bought it brand new from DrumCity/Guitarland. It was a looooong wait to get this baby, but it was well worth it. Definitely one of the better swirls I've seen, with a little bit of the "lizard" effect thrown in for good measure.
There are NO chips, dings, cracks, etc. The picture makes it look like there is some wear on the bass side of the tremolo. There isn't - I just didn't wipe it down before taking the pics.
Also, the
DiMarzio cliplock strap was on the guitar for approximately a day. I then decided that there was really no reason to have a cliplock on the guitar since it wasn't going to be played. So, there are NO marks from the guitar having been cased with the strap, etc.
I'll check tonight and see if I can find any polish swirls, etc. I'm sure that there are a few on the pickguard, but they'll be as light as possible since the guitar never really needed polished. It came out of it's case for "wall" photos and not much else.
The backplate was signed at the House of Blues in Anaheim during the final show of either the "Fire Garden" or "Ultra Zone" tour...can't recall which. Too long ago.
