Right, I've taken the plunge and I'm selling my SK. It's been a good guitar, but with the prospect of a post-grad course looming, funds are needed and this and the DBK are first off.
The SK is an 87. It has the
pyramid inlays, not the vine. It's in outstanding condition for a 20 year old guitar. No fretwear, no dings, chips or anything. The only thing that I can spot is come corrosion to the metal neckplate on the back. It comes with the rare-palmrest fitted to the bridge. Comes with hardcase (not original, its a snakeskin covered one) and of course, the whammy bar. It's also signed by Vai on the front of the body, however the signature has faded a bit (the signature was professionally clear cloated but it's still worn off). I took it to my guitar tech who has just re-setup the guitar up so it's all ready to go. I asked about the signature - he said he can remove it without any damage to the guitar if the buyer wants - if not, it stays. I'm waiting to get it back from him to get some photos taken, which should be tonight/early tomorrow.
As SK's are pretty rare in the UK and going by the amazing condition its in, I'm going to ask £1750. I've had no real UK price to go on as none have sold recently so I have nothing to compare it with.
Up next is the DBK. Comes with
padded gig bag, great condition, one small ding on headstock. I'm asking £750.
Here are the photos for the DBK, I'll get the photos of the SK up ASAP.

By the way, I'm not interested in trades for the SK. I may entertain one for the DBK but def. not the SK.
