This is an original steve vai jem777sk(shocking pink)original case.
I think its an 87...they made these for 3 years only, 87-88-89.
The serial #is 871242.everything is original except the clear pickgaurd.
This thing plays like butter as we all know.also there is NO fade on the color which they were famous for doing.
Time to weed out my collection.(translates to i'm getting married)

I find it cruel and inhumane that you won't ship this.

Sorry for the discussion, but if you wanted to restrict it to local buyers you should have just posted it on CL, not an international board. I'm only in California and it costs less than $40 to ship coast to coast by UPS Ground.

Well, I'm not about $40.00...sounds on the low side for something of that weight/ insured etc to go 3000 miles...

However, I would consider shipping if someone would pay actual shipping costs(I would attempt to determine actual cost)

Pix can be had as well, should you ask.
The guitar has the typical hairline/heel cracks: also a few minor dings..
Again, pix might clear things up for ya.

You are correct, nothing in the rules about local sales only, it's just mean to exclude the geographically challenged of us who are constantly on the lookout for certain guitars... the SK being one of the ones on my list.
