FS: Jem777VBK Good Condition, UK Seller

1989 Jem 777 VBK, very good condition for a 17 year old guitar, just has a couple of minor dings, one on the top edge (visible in photo 8 ) and a couple of indents near the monkey grip, that are barely visible but i thought i'd mention them anyway.

There are also the usual pickswirls and corrosion to the neckplate but the rest of the hardware is in pretty good condition.

Number on the neckplate is 895225.

Comes complete with original Ibanez hardcase, which still has a working combination lock..first one i've ever had !!!..... as well as a green DiMarzio strap and original trem arm etc, that i forgot to photograph. I also have a couple of sets of D'Addario 9's that ill throw in as well as the various allen keys, instruction manual etc.

It defaulted to a smiley face because of the "8" followed by the brackets....DOH !!!

Hi All,
Thanks for the offers that have come in so far.

Something i should have clarified in the original...with regard to shipping, i would much prefer it if somebody could collect this guitar as i don't have a big enough box or any cardboard for that matter to put it in, so all i could do is wrap the hard case in brown packing paper...not a very ideal solution.

With this in mind, if i do post it i'm only prepared send it within the UK.
I usually use Parcelforce48 and have had no problems with them up to now, but i tend not to send overseas.

If you want this posted overseas i can look into the postage costs, but i think you'd be mad having a guitar like this shipped in only brown wrapping paper !!!

Is bubble wrap and cardboard not available in the UK or something? Sorry mods, I'm gone...

Yes bubblewrap and cardboard is available in the uk.

My problem is, i never learnt to drive and only have a motorcycle so it's a bit difficult to get the packaging home.

Last time i sold some Jems i had 3 for sale and all 3 of them were collected by the buyers as people wanted to check them out first, as do a lot of people when they are buying items like this from people they don't know.

I'm really not bothered whether i sell this guitar or not so i'm not going out of my way to get rid of it. If no one can collect or i can't get any cardboard then so be it...i'll keep it.

If people don't want it because of my postage problem then they are free to say no.

If in the meantime, if i find some packaging i'll update the ad accordingly.....Alright, is that ok with you ??

I found some packaging materials in the end :-)

The guitar is provisionally sold, subject to me and the buyer agreeing on a shipping quote.

I'll update the ad accordingly as soon as i hear back.

I know.........ok you were right, i was wrong :-)

Believe me though, it's not easy transporting Cardboard and Bubblewrap on a Kawasaki ZX-7R !!!!

Still awaiting confirmation on the sale by the way....not over yet :-)
