Truth be told, I am trying to buy my son an electronic drum set. I will consider ANY serious offers!!!! Guitar will come shipped by Mailboxes Etc. and they do a very very good job of packing the guitar. Please help, otherwise someone on "the bay" will get this.

Just to state a fact that's obvious to anybody in the know.

Mailboxes Etc is the absolute WORST place you could possibly go. Not only is the packing typically SUBstandard, sometimes it's down right terrible. And when UPS of FEDEX denies a claim based on the way it was packed Mailboxes Etc will take absolutely no resposibility. Trust any third party to do something right and you might as well make a pact with the devil.

Not to mention the highest upcharges on shipping but more importantly INSURANCE charges in the industry. A shipment that would cost $40 UPS at the customer counter at a depot insured for $2000 is typically anywhere from $65-$80 from Mailboxes Etc.

Thanks Rich but I have had nothing but GREAT luck with my local Mailboxes. I have heard the same thing about UPS too though and have actually seen some damaged UPS packages. I think the local Mailboxes is employee owned and they take SUPER good care in packing ANYTHING I have sent. My **** feedback has always RAVED about the packaging.
