I have a UV7BK from 90/91 for sale with an extra UV7BK neck. I'm the original owner and have had it since it was bought from Steve's music in Montreal. I bought the neck from a guitar store in Montreal two years ago. The guitar is in very good cosmetic condition and plays very good but it does have some problems:
1) I had a strap break about 6 years ago which caused the guitar to fall to the floor and produced a crack on the back of the headstock. Hence the second neck, although it still plays 100% with the cracked neck.
2) One of the screws holding the springs underneath the guitar came out which was repaired at Steve's music in Montreal. You can view the pictures to see how it was fixed.
3) There are two dents that go to the wood which are visible in the pictures. One is on the top and one is on the back. There are a few other minor dents that do not go to the wood.
4) The extra neck has a very small hairline crack that runs from the 3rd to the 9th fret.
This guitar has never been on the road and has had very little play time for a guitar this old. It has been very well maintained.
I live just outside of Montreal, so I'm willing to show the guitar to anyone who can make it to Montreal or Ottawa.
