Firethorn was the color I think? Its been my main "house" guitar since I bought it new. Always played with shorts or sweatpants, and never gigged with. After all these years the original pickups and pickgaurd were getting swirly and all picked up. About three months ago I just put 2 new PAF pro's and an HS3 in and a custom smoked mirror guard.
Body has no nicks, scratches,
buckle rash, or dents. Its got this faint perfectly straight line/crease/seam across the top above the pickguard the whole length of the body, probably where they glued boards together.
Cosmo hardware is Exc. with about 4 or 5 of the smallest pimples on the bass side of the trem body and the saddles are practically perfect. The volume knob was always kinda loose, so I tried "spreading" the legs on the volume pot shaft and one popped off, its held in with a piece of pencil eraser, and it fits better than before! Neck plate is pretty good shape and no finish cracks.
Neck has no nicks, scratches, or dents. Has a small flaw under the clear right at the end of the Ibanez checkmark. I don't play with lots of pressure but its been my main guitar so there is decent fretboard/fretwear. Neck plays great and has the color matched inlays and white binding.
I think the knife edges or trem studs are starting to wear. When you pull up sometimes it will stay an extremely small value sharp, or flat depending on how its tuned.
Bought it new from Bills music in Catonsvile MD. S/N F136128. It came with a SKB hardshell.
I don't know how we'd do a deal across the country. I thought I'd run it by you because it actually crossed my mind not to long ago about maybe selling or trading it. I got pics if I knew how to get 'em on here, or I can email them
