Hey folks,

I picked up this Jem a while back and can't quite get used to the standard neck joint and have been contemplating on selling this thing. The guitar is in pretty good shape over all and I figure I might as well try to see if I can get some decent coin for this. I've honestly done no additional work to this guitar as it came pretty much setup already and is perfectly clean (heck the strings are still the same strings the guitar came it!), so it's unmodded to the best of my knowledge. I bought it just to have a Jem in my collection again, but I can't get over the old skool heel joint, so if you want a Rootbeer Jem, grab it now while I'm still undecided on this guitar.

Anyways... I'm asking for $1800+shipping+paypal fees(unless payment is done through money order).

As for trades?? Well.. I'm not looking for anything right now, but feel free to entertain me with what you got. (looking for higher end stuff)

I'm ok shipping pretty much anywhere as the buyer will be paying the shipping. (That means Canada, US, the UK, Australia..... Norway/Sweden... it's all good)

ok no worries budd, yeh it's one of those things ay since I played a 7VWH the JS shape just doesn't feel right to me but u got a nice jem there, what year is it? I'm sure you'll sell her pretty fast though, cheers.

I had one of these a couple of years ago, and loved it.
You're right though, it's difficult going high on the old Jems, when we've had so many years with the excellent AANJ Jems.
Strangely enough, i remember a lot of fuss made at the time about how much better/slimmer the jem neck joint was on these guitars than traditional 'St**t' type systems employed on other bolt on neck guitars around at the time.

It's a '88 Jem7RB. First year in production. Hoping to sell her soon before I change my mind or have regrets on selling it. There's still no bond between me and her, as much as I stroke her neck and play with her g-string, I got no mojo going with this one.
