WTB Jem 555

Hiya ,

I'm looking for a Jem 555 for a sustainer project. Colour not really an issue although black would be best.... TRS trem not a problem either. Must be good player condition with no structural issues and a good price

Anyone have one?

I have one - black, trs trem from 1994 so has a plain black pickguard and "JEM" headstock logo not "JEM jr". Its great to play other than I have to loop my lead over the strap button to avoid crackles (something needs resoldering).

The thing is because it has been played I'd prefer it is seen and maybe played in the flesh rather than someone be disappointed after buying it purely from online info/photos so out of curiosity how far away from B14 area of Birmingham are you?

I've taken a few shots (i'm rubbish) and made an imageshack gallery:

Have a look and if youre interested at all then PM me and we'll go from there One photo I've tried to show a 13mm crack in the actual paint that it came with when I bought with. Its not noticible unless you look for it and its not a structural defect. The trem looks dirty and rusty but in fact its black and nowhere near as bad as that photo depicts. I just like being thorough and provide "worst possible scenario" photos so theres no surprises.
