It's in excellent condition to say the least. Has a few cosmetic issues, the most notable being a slight chip at the front contour, the rest being your run of the mill surface scratches. It's an 87', even if you'd be looking for a new guitar, this wouldn't be a good idea regardless of long it was in someone's closet. This one is rare enough to be collectible, but yet cool enough to play. I never hid it in my closet. I played it a lot, but i am very careful with my instruments. The condition it's in, is the way i received it from Rich @ Ibanezrules.com
