WTT: Wanted!! Trade J-Customs for JEMs

Hello! Very recently I acquired 3 J-customs which are amazing machines, but after much thought we (my gf and I) have decided that it would be better to grab a high end JEM rather than 3 guitars that sit unplayed. All 3 of these guitars are in the exact same condition as I got them in (only had them 2 months or less). 2 of the guitars are J-custom RG8470F FE's, and the other is a 8570 NT all of these guitars come with their cases, certificates, and hang tags etc.

One of the FE's is a 2006 from the headstock, and is in 10/10 condition with a very very nice top on par with both my PRS 10tops. In the pictures this is the one on the right. This guitar has about 1hr of play time no scratches no dents etc.

The 8570 NT. This one I've only had for a short time, but has one very unique look to it IMO and is a 9.5/10 player guitar. It has a small dent on the flame maple binding base side. I have yet to feel it while playing as its pretty superficial. It also has the usual darkening of the binding as will happen with these models. (the other 2 haven't been played enough to show this wear)

The last one I'm not so sure I want to get rid of just yet unless someone has a really nice jem to trade for these guitars. This one is a 2007 FE that I got from Rich at Ibanezrules.com... needless to say the set up is unbelievble. I have had this one for just about 3 weeks, and its seen less than 20min play time.

Soooo anyway I am looking for high end Jems as possible trades so I thought the Jem section would be the best place to see that traffic. (sorry mods if this is the wrong section) Looking for 9.0 to 10 condition guitars, and although I like many JEMs here is the ones I have the most intrest in.

DNA (who dosn't! this I might accept lower than 9 condition)
Jem 20th
Jem 10th
GMC
PMC
BFP
FP
VSBL
New 77VBK
New VWH

Again I would be willing to trade up to all 3 of the guitars depending on what offers may come my way. Not really sure what kind of market there is for this kinda of trade. Thanks for your time guys. Not listing prices, because I'm really NOT looking for cash just guitars as I really don't need to get rid of these.

Thanks
Mike

my 777vbk has a crack at the nut at the back but I'd trade out for one of your guitars.it'd still leave you 2 more to trade off.

Re: WTT: Wanted!! Trade J-Customs for JEMs

'03 VWH, FP, DBK, or VSBL? I'm kinda assuming you meant a VWH.

I put new next to the VWH and 77VBK because thats what it would take to consider a trade. They are both current production models with the VWH being produced in high quantities for a very long time. (15 years and going) Also its resale value is not what I consider great in compairison to most JEM models. I would maybe consider trading the 8570NT for a very good condition late model VWH though. Those two are close to the same value to be worth a trade for me. Now if you meant a FP I am very intrested (cant remember if they had ebony fret boards), or a VSBL I would be intrested in as well. The DBK... well not so much lol.

I'm really looking for the more rare models I realize the wording "high end" in my first post was maybe not the right way to word it as almost all JEMs are high end.

Hope to hear from you guys
Thanks
Mike

It's a VWH and it's pretty much got no issues besides slight pick swirling on the guard and some gold wear on the Low E saddle only...

Re: WTT: Wanted!! Trade J-Customs for JEMs

Ibanez web site lists it as a Wizard neck profile 5piece with bubinga. 21.5mm at the 12th fret it feels really close to the 8470's neck which people keep refering its profile to a JPM I believe. I've never played a JPM so I'm not a great one to ask about the comparison there. I personally find these necks to be a little more comfortable than most the RG models I have played/own something about the shape sits a little better in the palm of your hand, but thats just my opinion.

Thanks
Mike

I've got an extra super clean early FP I'd get rid of, do you have anything other than the 8470's? I already have a couple and the only one I'm really looking pick up is the Prominence (PR) at the moment. Send me an email, maybe I can take care of you. yakgogak@hotmail.com
