My band is seeking a versatile bass player in the Orlando area. We are a group of educated, diverse, experienced musicians. We are a dual-purpose band - we are our own band as well as a supporting band for a local musician. Our primary musical focus is rock/metal, however, our secondary endeavour as a back-up band is varied from country-ish rock to metal.
The ideal candidate has solid, diverse techniques, influences, and a flexible personality. Must own good, concert-ready equipment or be willing to invest in your equipment upon inclusion in the band. We are not professional musicians
(the entire band maintains Mon~Fri jobs) however, we approach our music with a great deal of professionalism. We maintain a practice room in Orlando near downtown which also doubles as our recording and production studio. You will be financially responsible for your portion of the band's expenses (including a share of the room cost), equipment investments, etc. Money spent as a band is agreed upon as a group, majority rules - this is a democracy and discussion is welcome and encouraged among us. Candidates will be inducted permanently after a trial period to establish work ethic, dedication and compatibility with the remainder of the band.
