February 8th - Block Party at Gabe's

Hey everyone,

Just wanted to invite everyone to my block party. Stacy and I are getting married and to celebrate, we're shutting down the corner street where we live. We may have the wedding on the street as well, instead of at the courthouse. It will be very informal, but we simply cannot afford a big wedding and this is a 'no gifts' wedding.

I don't have a specific time, but I want the ceremony to be over at 1:00pm so we can party all day!

We'll have a brisket smoker on hand and if the weather suits it, probably a DJ as well. If you are interested, I'll send you a map.

We will have to get together before Feb. 8. I am travelling that weekend and the following weekend. Hopefully the Jem Jam will occur before then and we may toast your pending nuptials. CONGRATS - Remember - Poor is a man that does not marry better than he. You got yourself a GREAT gal.

Any official word on a start time yet? I don't want to miss anything.

Looks like a 30 percent chance of rain. I'm crossing my fingers that it will stay dry.

Hey everyone! It's official, I'm married! It's 9:30 and Stacy's still asleep (LOL). Everything was wonderful and we even had some forum members show up.

Vwall, Bob O, and Scott Young were there - thanks guys, I had great time!

Of course, when you get guitarists together, we must jam. I have some pictures here of our jam, but hardly a 'jemjam' primarily because everything being played there was Gibson and Fender... I'll try to get them up later. Plus I have some video clips.

I didn't get any wedding pics, but they will be flowing in within a few days I imagine.
