I Want to Play!

It's so difficult to find serious musicians to jam with! i'm going to be spending the summer at my dads house in Englewood, NJ, and if anyone from the NJ/NY area is interested in a summer jam, let me know.

Also, if you happen to be visiting Israel anytime soon, just give me a yoller! I'm in dire shortage of musicians lately!

I'm thousands of miles away from Jerusalem.............and NJ, but wanted to chime in with few sugestions on how to find people to jam with.

Every music store here has a notice board where people put little ads looking for a jam buddy or for like minded people to form a band.
Give a few of them a call or if there's nothing you like, you live a note with your number on it and just meet a few people that way.
Alternatively get the local guitar mag and look through the ads - a lot of people are looking for other people to play with there as well.
Another option is to get a part-time job in a music store and just talk to the people that come in to try/buy guitars.

Do these things and you'll have tons of guitar buddies in no time.

Thanks for the suggestions Dex, but i've already tried most of those. the guitar stores won't hire me (not 18 yet), no one called me after i left my number in the guitar stores, and I WISH we had a local guitar mag! I've got plenty of guitar buddies though. just need someone to play something other than metallica or Gn'rs.
