Let's jam it up in Sydney Australia!!

Hello, my name is John Sanders (Doug Steele on radio) , I'm an American living in Sydney Australia. I've been playing guitar for about 20 years, and I'm deeply into brutal/shred, a la Jason Becker, the Meshuggah boys, that kinda thing..

I have used Ibanez pretty much from the start, had 3 or 4 RG series guitars, I now own a custom made 7 string made by Belman outfitted with Mastertone Pick Ups.

Me and a friend are starting a band. It'll be for fun, we'll be doing Ozzy and old VH covers (with extended guitar solos everywhere) and wearing wrestling masks. We need a rhythm/lead guitarist..It would be fun to have two lead players getting evil on "I'm The One" and "Symptom Of The Universe"...

Australia has got a great metal secene, it's huge, but most the shredders I know are dorks, real good with the shredding, but the music is far from brutal. Yes people, you can have both..

If you're interested in having some sort of jam, puleez email me. I'm bored!!

Oh, here's my studio project www.mp3.com/flatstick

Peace!!

Hey! So you're in Sydney now? I'm the guy that won that shredding contest at the Railway. If you were still in Melbourne I'd definitely be up for some shredsmanship.

G'day

I'm in Sydney, and only play Ibanez guitars (except for a seagull acoustic). I love shred, love Poison, and I really love the old guitar for guitar's sake music.

But I don't think I'm "good enough" to play with you. I'm not that fast, my improving needs work, etc etc. It'd be cool to see you guys play though.

wil..
