London International Music Show 09
The countdown to G Day is up.
June 11th- June 14th
No news on which artists/bands are appearing or which companies will be putting in appearance just yet. But its confirmed that the London International Music Show, formally London Guitar Show and Drummer L!VE is back on for 2009. See you guys there.

Re: London International Music Show 09
I was there for the first official LIMS last year on the Trade day/Thursday and Friday, and I have to say, I was pleasantly surprised at how good a show it was, despite being thinly spread out, especially the drum hall. Definitely recommend it though, and Excel is a great venue for it.
The ONLY downside to the shift in direction is the fact that the small independents that used to make the London Guitar show so much more interesting have now been priced out of the show, which is a real shame. No more interesting and used equipment, which, for me, was half the fun.

Re: London International Music Show 09
You could always buy things there. I picked up a Boss GE-7 last time I went in 07.
£180 for the Steve Vai masterclass... I think I'll have to pass on that this year. Bit of a jump from the £15 ticket for one hour two years ago.

Re: London International Music Show 09
I was thinking of buying a ticket to the Vai masterclass but I don't know anyone else who would want go go with me (I live all the way up in Newcastle) and wouldn't like to travel to London alone.

Re: London International Music Show 09
Excuse the vulgar thread bump!
I'm going on the Saturday. Can't wait! Being the total guitar nerd I am, tomorrow and Friday will go very slow. I've not been for 3 years, last time it was the London Guitar Show.
I'm intent on lingering around the Dean, Ernie Ball/Music Man, ESP, LAG, Mayones, Warwick and of course Ibanez stands, among others, for as much as I can get away with. It's gonna be ace.

Re: London International Music Show 09
Um, according to the Int. Music Show website, they *are* there. Both Ibanez and Headstock distribution.
