Meeting up with Rikk Beatty in M.O.(digitech)

Well, I met up with Rikk Beatty tonight on his Digitech Truck in Bridgeton Missouri

What a great guy, player and clinician.
We talked about his Custom Ibanez RG3520Z w/ Scarab and Eye of Rah inlays.
We talked abit and he played abit (wow) then he shared with me some pics from the Ibanez Custom shop (treat)

Then he slapped me with a COOL new Digitech "Hardwire" DL-8 Delay/Looper which is very *sweet* and worth checking out (true bypass) even if you think your delay is the cats ass. It has up to 8 seconds of digital delay, 20 secs of looping, stereo ins and outs, Reverse, Modulated (chorused repeats), Analog, SlapBack, lo-fi, tape function, and a kewl new stop lock ( knob condom) so you or the fans don't mess with your coveted settings.

Rikk Himself again, is a great player and you can tell right away that he loves what he does (who wouldn't) and has lots of experience to share ( and doesn't mind doing it) So check him out too if you haven't.

So thanks a million Rikk & Digitech....... and by the way you forgot my Button...................LMAO.

Yeah, I met him when he came through Chicago. I got the same pedal, VERY cool, try it in reverse mode for some tasty flavors.
Rikk is a cool guy and we BS'ed for a while and the guy has chops to spare!
Cool the fellowship is growing.

Although I didn't go, my father went and ended up getting one of the new Hardwire Reverb pedals. We haven't had time to try it, but I'm sure it rocks!

He said that Rikk was an extremely talented player, and he loved the Digitech RP-500 too.

Today was the last day of this tour. We have been in Nashville for the last 4 days. The tour picks back up in December. The schedule will be:

Well it runs from 3:00pm till 8:00pm but basically we go until it starts getting real slow. Try not to be any later than 6:00pm just to make sure.

My wife works Wednesday nights, so if I am there, the kids will be straggling behind. I think I could get there around 5-ish.
