I'd love to jam...

Funny thing is tho', there's a jam here in Austin for folks who want to jam with the mighty Fatman aka George Sanger. One of my heroes of game music (did soundtracks for Wing Commander, 7th Guest, etc..)

The funny part is that I went to two or three jams then lost interest. How come? Well, I wanted people to learn some songs I liked. I was perfectly happy to play Beatles and Rolling Stones awhile but only for so long. Then again I didn't exactly make a concerted EFFORT to ask people to play tunes I liked, from simple ditties like Solisbury Hill to more complex Vai ones.

So, long and short of this is... what kinda music are the jammers into? Here's a couple of ideas:

Vai: I would love to
Vai: Answers
Vai: Survive (for those who are into 'singing')

I think it's a waste of time, but hey that's personal choice.

I just like to *jam*. Ya know, hang around, talk turkey, just play guitar. *gasp* Improv! *gasp*

We should all get together or something.

I go to Century Music probably 2-3 times a week to just hang out and goof off. They all know me pretty well.

If you happen to go there and see some guy with butt-length long hair that's probably me.
