Texas Mini-Jemfest? - I thought this was mentioned somewhere

Trying to recall, but I thought Bob or one of the other TX guys mentioned something about a mini one.

I'd love to be a part of it and would do what I can.

Any interest anyone?

Texas Mini-Jemfest?

In a way we have had several Mini-Jemfests. We have discussed a bigger more organized gathering with Drummers etc… However, everyone has had a very busy summer so far. For now we just gather at one of our homes on occasion to jam, eat and drink beer.

Any Jemster is welcome at any of our lil’ fests, but they are probably not extravagant enough to warrant travel from another State… or city for that matter. I think I can say, with some confidence, that we will have some gatherings in the future that will actually contribute to the cause, the cause being MANF and support for jemfest and jemsite.com.

I encourage guys and gals from everywhere to organize little get togethers. We have discovered that, though we all come from different upbringings, beliefs and even countries, our common interests have allowed some friendships to grow. We have a blast at these things.

Well let me know when you have another one in your neck-o-the-woods Bob!

Dammit I'd drive from SA, it's only 2.5 hrs.

I feel a Mini-Texas-Jemfest brewing…. I know Gregory is open to host the next. Also, I just got an OK from Maggie to tear down a wall, which I will do this weekend. My studio will now occupy what was the formal living room and dining room. More Jam space. My family will be away in a week or two, leaving me by myself with a big empty Jam room.

Lets shoot for the end of the month guys… OK?

Saturday, August 4th is a good tentative date for me. More as I get schedules for all the craziness in my life.

Love the avitar Gabe. Looks like its straight from an 1800’s wanted poster.

August 4th is a good time to do it. Turns out that my wife and son will be in Minnesota. My home is open, but I will e-mail all potential hosts and post here with the plan.

Chris, Jeffrey, Gabe, Greg, Scott, bob… Looks like I better buy a bass. We need one more to make it 7.

Just checked with Laura and I have a wedding that day. *If the mini jemfest date can't be moved I will try to come after the wedding. *I think it is a day wedding. *That Sunday is good for me.
Out,
Gregory *
