2 PCI sound cards at one time

hey guys. i have a computer now that has a audigy 2 zs installed. i know this are terrible for recording, but it sounds good for 5.1/6.1/7.1 gaming/surround sound. I was thinking of purchasing a M-Audio 24/96 for my recording input/output. Is it possible to install 2 cards, one that handles the gaming/dvd output and one that handles the recording project input/output, and have them installed so that i don't have to switch back and forth between which i'm using at one time?

then i was thinking of getting a decent surround sound system for the creative card and some decent studio monitors/sub for the recording setup

all this possible, or no??

its possible. i use 3 m-audio delta 1010lt's in my machine with the onboard 5.1 realtec disabled. i could use all of them, but the delta 1010's do everything i need. my difference is that i use my pc strictly for recording, no games.
