Any freeware that is like Fruity Loops?

Hi, can anyone recommend me a freeware software that is similar to Fruity Loops? I can't really find one that i like. I'd usually use it to make some "electronic" music and just to play around, maybe make stupid songs. Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

Um, the Fruity Loops demo IS freeware - you can't save projects, but you can export wave files. I use it for drum programming.
