Anyone using Cubase SE & Windows 7???

I'm looking to get a new computer today and I'm running
Cubase SE w/vista right now. I checked Steinbergs website
and they don't even list Cubase SE in the Windows 7 list.
Anyone know if it will work or not??

It has been a long time since we had a mac vs PC thread. Let's keep it that way.

Have you tried emailing Steinberg's tech support, they are pretty good.

I wouldn't touch windows 7 just yet. Stick with XP if you're trying to record music, as you can tame XP and run it with at least 16 services in a full blown install. Try that with vista or 7 and the OS will not work.

Re: Anyone using Cubase SE & Windows 7???

I got my computer, a HP p6230y @ best buy.
So far so good. I installed Cubase se with no
patch ( had to get a patch from syncosoft for the dongle)
I got BFD 2 installed and got the patch for my m-audio 1814 interface.
I'm going to try in the next day or 2, to try recording some stuff to see what I get.
I'll post some results later...
