backtrack + mic :automatic record through mic?
Lately i've been coming up with musical ideas on my digital piano, and i find myself scrambling to get something to write that idea down.......but i have a lead melody in my head as i play on the piano. So i need something to record those musical ideas because they can come and go in a hurry if i dont do something to record it. I also need something to record the piano and vocals at the same time, or just vocals without the hassle of firing up Logic, setting up the mic and levels, and the whole 9 yards, maybe by that time i will have lost the musical idea.
So the backtrack + mic seems like the solution to this.......but i need to know if the backtrack can start recording if i sing in its mic but without hooking up the piano to the backtrack......can it do this? Like will it automatically start recording if it hears something through the mic, without being connected to anything??
A lot of times i have a melody in my head and i just want to be able to sing in the backtrack mic, and automatically record that without having to be hooked up to the piano or guitar.
