Question

BOSS DR 880

Ok, I am starting to frequently write my own songs with wide spread genres (jazz to metal to prog) and i found this drum machine in sam ash. i can spend about 200-330 $$, and i know that u can spend about that on ****, so....my questions are:

Is it easy to use? Can you like do like a double kick track and like go over that with a ride and snare? SHOULD I GET IT?!?

Re: BOSS DR 880

I would, I dont have the 880, I have an old 660 but I like Boss drum machines, if this one is available for $200, I may pick one up myself.

Re: BOSS DR 880

Get it!!
Awesome stuff!

Ive had all sorts of gear thet Ive never got to use, cause I found them uninspiring and complicated.

I got the DR 880 a week ago, and although I hevent had the chance to use it a lot....It inspires me. Ive wanted to write for ages, and I'll think this thing will help me a lot.
GREAT features. Check out the demo vids on the Boss site.
GREAT sounds. Does NOT sound like a drum machine.
GREAT patterns. Modern sounding. Not the average ****.
The heavy guitar sounds are not in the Line 6 league, but they arent Zoom, or Korg even.
Hope I helped.
