Boss Micro BR

So I bought one yesterday and I like it.

It's just a 4-track recorder with a drum machine and multi-fx. It is easy to use and you can get ok results first time really.

I suspect that more complex stuff may be disproportionally difficult, but I like it so far.

Anyone else tried/bought one?

I've got one. As a practice tool it may be one of the coolest things ever. In addition to the 4 track and multi-effects it also acts a trainer using mp3s and has a tuner as well

I bought one, and it was very impressive, but I couldn't get it to sound the way I wanted, so I returned it.

Re: Boss Micro BR

I had my wife get me one for xmas. I never planned to do any serious recording with it. I travel a lot, and I thought it would be perfect for keeping in my guitar case for "on-the-fly" songwriting. I'm sure all of us have written those "million dollar" tunes in our heads and forgot them before having a chance to write/record. Hopefully, that won't happen again now that I have the Micro BR.

Re: Boss Micro BR

So no one hates i then?

Well that's good news.

I think that it is a fantastic piece of kit. As long as you appreciate what it is.

Re: Boss Micro BR

So now that these have been around for a little longer and people have had more time to get used to the features, anyone have any more to add about how much they like or dislike these pocket sized recorders?

They seem like alot of bang for the buck. Is the drum machine just sampled loops or can you actually program your own parts?
