Speaker output from amp -> attenuator -> Speaker.

You'll need some additional cables to do this.

Re: Combo Amp and attenuator ?!?

By speaker, I was referring to the combo's speakers. I'm not familliar with that model, but with most marshall valve combos you can disconnect the speakers round the back. Don't run the amp without a load connected though. Disconnect the speakers, plug that lead into the output of the attenuator, then run a cable from the amp speaker output to the attenuator input.

The whole point of an attenuator is to allow you to run the amp flat out at a sensible volume, so no, the amp will not be loud when it is cranked. Its volume will be dictated by the attenuator settings.
