condensor mics
Has anybody tried the Behringer line of condensor mics?
And what did you think of them?

I suspect you mean the large diaphragm side address condensors. I have no first hand experience, but they're probably typical Shanghai fare, and at Behringer's prices probably a good deal.
I DO have a pair of Behringer's ECM800 small diaphragm omnis. Incredible buy at $70 a pair. A bit noisy for acoustic ensemble stereo pickup, but they sound good and are great for louder stuff like drum overheads or room mic for guitar amp.

The room micing idea is what I had in mind......
Also for some vocals too, but I wanted some testimonials first b4 buying.
Thanks

For vocals, get the large diaphragm one. Behringer, Nady, Marshall - they're all pretty much the same. A step up might be Rode, Studio Projects, or Carvin. Same basic thing but better QC.
Personally, I'd look for a used AT4033 or AT4050.
