confused about direct recording devices...


my guys, I'm quite happy with my sansamp GT-2, but I thought I'd go with something more sophisticate, like the PSA-1...now, I'm asking if there's something better/chepaer out there...did anyone ever hear the PSA-1 and, say, a Chameleon, or Voodu Valve or whatever?...or am I going to bow to the POD?

Better? Not IMO. The PSA-1 is still the best *overall* modeler I've ever heard. My Yamaha DG Stomp comes in 2nd, but is easier to get around than the PSA-1 - that's why I sold my PSA-1! The original Pod is probably next, and then the V-amp2 (I never played with the J-station much, and haven't played with the Vetta or PodXT).
