Critique my mix, please. :)

Remixed (compressed and leveled) an older tune of mine a bit. If you've got time and bandwith, would appreciate some opinions on how to better it.

Hey Cq, great kick ass track! The only thing i might do is turn up the lead a bit. It seems at times to get drowned out by your mega-riffin' rythm. What are you using for drums by the way?

Awesome! You're a very accurate rhythm player which makes your double tracking sound really good!

My criticism: The drums are a weak link. They mechanical sounding. Also, as the other poster said, your leads could use a little definition, especially in the beginning of the track.

Powerful rythm guitars! now that kicks ass :P hehe!
I agree on the leads going up a bit. they sound nice when you hear them , but thats not often enough.. the drums are heavy sounding , but they are to mechanical. If you trigger them with a keyboard , try not to quantizize (was that right spelled?:P) them , cause then you get that metronome feel you have here , and that makes them kinda boring.. But they are ok!
They are sampled right? hehe .. if not , sorry ..
The various drums sound nice , the kick is powerful and deep , and the cymbals are nice too!
Good Job!

OK

Considering that I'm listening to this on my computer and it's an MP3 file, here is what I think.

The problem isn't that the leads need to be pushed. There's a little too much low end on the overall mix. The bass guitar isn't defined at all and is completely lost.

Just experiment with alittle bit of rolling off. Aside from that it's pretty good.

Congrats. Solid playing BTW
