Drum Loops - From PC to Portastudio?

My parents are buying (or have bought) me a portastudio and my friend has Fruity Loops and I was wondering if its possible to move the loops from the PC to the portastudio? If so, how would you go about doing this?

Thanks!
Joe

Depends on the portastudio. If the only ins/outs are analog, you have to play the loops in a PC and go out the soundcard to the ins on the porta. Or burn a CD and then play the CD into the porta. If the porta has USB, firewire, SPDIF, or lightpipe connections, you have more options.

might i suggest the freeware version of sonic foundry acid? Create a stereo drum track in acid, mix it down to a stereo wave file. If you can transfer it digitally, then do so, if not, play it back and record it into a stereo/two mono channel(s) on the portastudio.
