Re: EZ Drummer DFH
for what i know of any software like this and correct me if im wrong but you hook it up into another program called a midi sequencer like cubase, cakewalk and pro tools(i think) and write in the beats, notes, drumhits or whatever there called to drum people and the sequencer plays back the result some drum programs can actually play lops them selves too but yea for ez drummer i reccomend cubase or another sequencer to get it running like you wish although the sequencers ive used are quite complex

Re: EZ Drummer DFH
I use it with Cubase SX3. Cubase 4 for didn't support Vista, but 4.1 does!
I must say that the blast beat loops and fills are AWESOME!!!!!

I use it with Sonar 7. Works like a charm. The DFH is a must have add on pack.

Yes I agree, also the some of the other ones are cool also - Vintage Rock, Nashville , Claustrophobic, but the Twisted Kit is a bit weird for me, as I do not know what to do with it yet,
I also use it with Sonar 7, and I like it better than what comes with Sonar

Not at all. There's even a pdf file in the installation directory indicating the sound assigned to every keyboard key.

Re: EZ Drummer DFH
It's pretty easy. You can just drag and drop grooves. (Make sure you set it up so that there are separate tracks so you can control each item in the kit. There is a EZD Template somewhere on the net that tells you how to do this in Sonar.
I generally do it via the piano roll by hand. Quantize if it is off beat and use the step sequencer for runs.
This is all in Sonar. Not sure about Cubase.

Re: EZ Drummer DFH
Go to the toontrack website and youtube and watch the videos on how to work the program. It is pretty rockin'.

Re: EZ Drummer DFH
The beats in easy drummer are already made all you need to do is drag and drop them on your project. If you feel the need for modifing the beat open up your drum editor within the program you use and mod away. This is a real simple program to use and sounds killer. Heres a little sample of the DFH in action.
