Free mixer/recorder online?

Does anyone know a site where I can record a few tracks? I've been using the windows recorder in my computer but would like to mix at least two tracks. Right now I'm using a prosessor straight into my computer. Is there anywhere with free downloadable software? thanks

Digidesign do a thing called ProTools Free which is....... well, free, the catch being that it will only run on MacOS9 or Windows NT - 8 tracks, 16 bit, 44.1Khz resolution which is CD quality.

I think it can be found under "Downloads" on the Digidesign website.

Also worth a look is ether Cristal or Crystal Audio Engine, or maybe it was Krystal... Search for variations until something comes up. It's a 16-track freeware app that actually looks rather decent.

There's also Audacity, it's free and multi-track.
