Guitar PODXT as Bass POD???

Hey!

Have any of you guys used a guitar POD to record bass lines? Obviously, the sounds are optimized for guitar, so the sound wont be the best, but I was wondering if there could be any voltage/frequency issues that may arise with an active bass?

Translation: I want to record a bass to PC via USB using a guitar POD...will the thing blow up???

I did it... go to www.unhookedmusic.com , then music archive, midnight station, pride and joy....

Peavey bass through a pod...

Cleanest setting you can get, maybe tube preamp or something...
