Guitar Rig 2.0

Hi Guys,

I have guitar rig 2.0 and I think the sounds in it are really good but is there anyway of getting rid of the hiss (noise) it gives off?

I am using it with my RME soundcard and directbox.

the noise reduction but i have it too and i dont rly like it cuz it doesnt have the feel of a real amp, are ther any programs that can do this?

i find it only has hiss on certain amp heads.
And even with those you can tame it with the different gates it has available.

I like the sound of it..but the plexi is the only amp head i cant use
because of the noise and feedback issues it creates

I assume that you are not facing the PC with your guitar, right? I usually have problems if I do that. never really had that problem

the only amp head i have Hissues (yeah, hissues!) with, is the JCM 800 model (the Lead 800 in guitarrig), the rest are pretty quiet...

try removing some gain from the amp you´re experiencing hissing with, and boosting it with the Skreamer distortion in front of the amp instead... works pretty nice with the Gratifier at least, especially if you put it in the Raw mode and use an EQ to boost the mids a little and then put the Skreamer after that
