My band (Rats And People - shamless plug) has our music on Itunes and a bunch of places...Digstation... all thru CDBaby. They're awesome! We get a notice when some actually sell and then some mailbox money. I can't speak highly enough of them - and they do a bunch of work to get you going. Sorry this post is disjointed...Im supposed to be working.

We have CDs that we sell on there too. Discmakers pressed our album digipak style and we just filled out the paperwork for CDbaby to sell it digitally for us. It was free at the time... I'm not sure what the cost would be to deal with CDbaby directly. In that case, it may be cost effective for you to do a short run at discmakers or someone similiar and take advantage of the digital deal. Im sure you get blitzed by all the catalogs they send you...it may have the price listed in there. I can't speak highly enough of them (I don't work for them) cuz they really do a bunch of work and promotion (and deals for distros to sell to stores) that would take time and you get money from 'em...

Re: Has anyone here have their music on iTunes? Need advice.
The band I manage (Ghost Circus ~ yay shameless plugs) has music on iTunes, though the label sets it all up. The label (ProgRock Records ~ yeah you have to mention it like Nascar drivers mentioning their sponsors) also owns Mindawn.com which is a competitor to iTunes that uses flac and ogg format for better music quality for the discerning listener.
CDBaby is great if you have the time to invest in making sure merchandise gets where it needs to go, but they do take a sizeable cut from what I've been told.
