Humidity/temperature

Hey

I keep my guitar in a room (in the basement) that has close to 50% relative humidity, and more than 21C/70F degrees...
Is this too much? Whats the optimal conditions for my guitar?

(Sorry if I posted this in the wrong section, I wasnt sure)

Actually, 50% RH and 70 degrees F is fine. 45% RH is probably "ultimate", but you're pretty close. That's a pretty dry basement - mine gets to 70% in the summer without dehumidification.

The main thing is, if you're comfortable, your guitars should be too. So 60-80 degrees F, and 40-60% RH should be fine.
