I need a good midi keyboard, please help!

I'm lookin to spend no more than $250, 49 or 61 key. Semi-weighted would be a nice feature too. The behringer umx61 seems pretty cool but I havn't found any reviews about it. Also I read some good things about the E-Mu Xboard 49 key. I'm a little nervous about the m-audio stuff because everythings getting really mixed reviews. Thanks for the help

Do you need just a controller or a keyboard with sounds?

Just a controller.

I ended up ordering an E-MU Xboard 61 last night. I hope this was a good choice. I played an Xboard49 at guitar center last night and it felt good to me, def alot better feeling than the m-audio keyboards. They didn't carry the Xboard 61 though so I ordered it online. It comes with a full version of proteus 1.5 & you can upgrade to Proteus 2 for $50 so it seemed like a good deal to me to go with the Xboard 61. I hope I like it!
