I'm building a home studio. :)

And if anyone's really bored and cares to take a look at my progress, I'm keeping a little worklog going in this thread:

Looks great so far!! It's hard to work with a space like that, but it looks like you're doing a great job. I'm sure all that hard work is paying off!

Thanks man!

I just moved the first batch of gear in (I'm posting this message from there finally - yeahoo!)

I updated that thread with new pics. I'm absolutely THRILLED with how it came out - it's so nice to finally be in here, even if it's not 100% done.

Now I just can't wait to get recording!

Wow, that home studio looks totally awesome! I would love to convert my room into that

What gear are you recording with (sequencer, PC etc)?
And I was reading the thread on that other forum, flatscreen monitors are SO much better!

Sequencer's a roland PMA-5, Fruityloops and in a month or so a set of v-drums. Sonar 3 for the tracking, though I just picked a copy of Nuendo, and depending on the learning curve I may end up going that route instead.

Looks great I wish I had a studio here, but oh well, I'll have to be content to play around in the one at school next semester
